I’ve loved to create for as long as I can remember. As a child I spent endless hours crocheting, drawing, painting, etc. I learned to sew when I was 12, and loved it immediately. My mother would take me to the fabric store, and buy me anything I needed for a project, and then let me run with it.
I have always had a million ideas of things I wanted to sew, but back in the days before online shopping, the problem often was that I couldn’t find the fabrics I was looking for. I became very frustrated with that, and vowed that someday, somehow, I would design my own fabrics.
I believe that you are never too old, or too uneducated to start doing something you’ve always wanted to do. Whether you have a degree, or you’ve been spending the last however many years mostly changing diapers and driving carpools, if you are willing to take it on, you can channel your God–given abilities with His help, and do whatever you dream of doing!
