Journeys by Kathy Davis — quilted wall hanging
What a joy it was to meet Kathy Davis (above) at Quilt Market in Minneapolis just over a week ago. She was as enchanting and upbeat as her captivating debut fabric line, Journeys.
If you are a dragonfly lover (which many of us are), then this is a must-have. Two different prints in stunning color variations, with lots of lovely prints and scales to coordinate.
We particularly like the easy quilted wall hanging (right). Just use the embroidery stitch on your sewing machine to embroider your choice of words from Kathy’s “Sew Many Words” print.

Kathy and her assistant, Melissa, were wearing gorgeous scarves at Market. They were made very simply from Kathy’s “Sew Many Words” prints with mock crystal beads attached to the fringe.
If you make one of the Monique Dresses (below left) by Kay Whitt, then you might just have to buy a little extra for a coordinating scarf!
Jennifer Paganelli’s ever-popular Patricia Tunic (below right) would also be lovely in made up in Journeys fabrics.
