Paula Prass’ booth at Spring Quilt Market in Pittsburgh
Patty Young & her husband at Spring Quilt Market
We’re gearing up to go to Fall Quilt Market and we were just looking back through our pictures from Spring Market. The Michael Miller booths were quite impressive — so many great project ideas! Paula Prass (booth pictured above) had some great ideas for creating easy and useful decorating accents.
Cover boxes or other containers with striking fabric, create bright accent pillows, make fabric picture frames or frame some of your favorite fabric. Bags are great accessories (and make great gifts).
See Amy Butler’s Madison Bag and Kay Whitt’s Tabitha Tote for bag patterns similar to those pictured above.
Tunics are also popular — Patty Young and several other designers were wearing tunics, and Kay Whitt from Serendipity Studio has some great tunic patterns.
Amy Butler ALERT!!!!
Amy’s new Love quilting weight fabric line should be arriving sometime next week. Keep checking the QuiltHome.com web site. We are continuing to stock Lotus and Belle, two of Amy’s most popular collections ever.
How about those Michael Miller dots??? They’re a great basic to have on hand.
Create sweet outfits such as the Olivia Top by Pink Fig (lower left) or the jazzy Sylvia Sling by Serendipity Studios (lower right) and put those dots to use!
