"... I went to the International Quilt Market in Houston to unveil my new line of fabrics called Ty Pennington Impressions. How cool is that? I am so stoked about this whole project. It’s really been a labor of love that began by searching through hundreds of different photos I’ve taken on my travels. Why start there? Inspiration, that’s why! I eventually narrowed down concepts and then created wooden stamps of my favorite patterns. After playing around, experimenting with fabric stamping and dying, I scanned the stamped patterns into my computer so I could translate them into fabric ideas.
