Dear Friends,

Ever since Anna Maria Horner described her new Voile and Dobby fabric lines to us, we’ve been salivating. Now that her new Little Folks collections have arrived we are thrilled to report that the silky soft feel and drape of these fabulous fabrics are all that she promised.
As you can see from Anna Maria’s booth at Fall Market (above and below right), these fabrics are delightful for nurseries to sitting rooms, quilts to pillows, and clothing for children and adults. The Dobby panels make wonderful curtains (above) and lovely scarves (below left), and we love the squares of Little Folks Dobby and Voile set on end in the quilt behind the couch (below right).

Little Folks by Anna Maria Horner:
Voile, Dobby, & Laminates (Oilcloth)

Amy Butler ALERT!!!!

Maybe it’s the damp, dreary winter we’re having, but Amy’s Love Flannels are flying off the shelves! They are so cozy and cheerful — great for throws, flannel pants, and quilt backings!
Amy’s new laminated cottons (oilcloth) are another wonderful way to brighten up your house and add convenience at the same time — what better than a tablecloth or bag that just wipes clean?

Anna Maria Horner’s new oilcloth fabrics are fabulous for diaper bags and changing pads (see Amy Butler’s Nappy Bag, below left). Anna Maria suggests making the changing pad out of oilcloth on one side for easy cleanup and a different coordinating fabric on the other side. You can do the same with the diaper bag.
Amy Butler’s Sun Surf Halter (below right) would be lovely made up in Anna Maria’s new Little Folks Voile… they have such a flattering draping quality!

Mixing the Little Folks Dobby and Voile fabrics would make darling dresses and tops for little girls. We suggest checking out the Sophia Dress & Swing Top by Chelsea Andersen of Pink Fig Patterns (below left). Mix Anna Maria’s Little Folks Voile with the Voile Designer Solids for a more sophisticated skirt for yourself or a special friend. Lila Tueller’s new Stella Skirt (below right) might be just the thing for these silky new fabrics!
