David Butler, the graphic artist behind the brand Parson Gray, designs for style and home with a folk modern approach. Richly muted palettes and organic, geometric prints with loose, hand–drawn sophistication are anchored in modernist simplicity reminiscent of mid–century studio design and japanese indigo.
David is the lucky husband of renowned textile, home and fashion designer Amy Butler. They founded their Art of the Midwest studio in 1992 and continue to share studio space with their 4 cats in Ohio.
