Hi--I just wanted to write you a note to let you know that I received the lovely fabric that I ordered from you. Thanks so much for all your help over the phone, and for the super quick shipping - I received the fabric only 2 days after I ordered it! I will definitely be shopping with you again. Thanks

Amy Butler is a talented artist and designer
who shares studio space with four cats and her husband, David (who designs fabric under the Parson Gray brand). Amy was hugely
influenced by her mother and grandmother, two dynamic women who shared their love of arts & crafts
and supported Amy’s desire to follow her heart. In art school, Amy developed a passion for fashion
and surface design… it is also where she met David. Following art school, David and Amy
moved home to be near their families and set up their “Art of the Midwest” studio where they
created illustrations and products for clients worldwide.
Amy was a contributing editor to Country Living
Magazine, and during this time she began a line of sewing patterns. In 2003 Amy launched her
first fabric collection, Gypsy Caravan, and the rest is history. Amy has strongly
influenced modern fabric design and has instilled a passion for sewing and creating in many of us. She
draws inspiration from her love of vintage fabric, nature, travel abroad, and everyday life. We think of
Amy’s style as “vintage modern” and we have carried every fabric and pattern Amy has
designed since her debut as a fabric designer in 2003.
