With the Herringbone placemat, I have rescaled my original Herringbone runner pattern to the size of a placemat. The Herringbone design is a fresh take on a classic, with crisp, contrasting pieces and a pleasing symmetry. Because it works well with a range of colors and prints, especially solids, it is easily tailored to the colors and themes in any kitchen or dining room. The pattern also includes illustrated instructions for making cloth napkin rings.
